The 13 Best Sheet Masks

The 13 Best Sheet Masks

I’ve tried a lot of skincare, but nothing gives me that instant “wow” like a good sheet mask. It’s a quick, self-contained facial. Just 20 minutes can completely change how my skin looks and feels for the rest of the day.

Korean sheet masks are on another level. They’re soaked in incredible ingredients and often feature unique materials, from super-thin hydrogels that feel like a second skin to thick rubber masks that lock everything in. I’ve been testing them for years.

So, I went through my stash and pulled out the absolute best ones I keep buying over and over. These are the masks that deliver on their promises, whether I need a blast of hydration, a calming treatment, or a serious glow-up before a big event.

Best for Brightness & Glow

Anua Peach 70 Brightening Collagen Mask

Anua Peach 70 Brightening Collagen Mask

This mask costs about $6 and it’s become my go-to for a quick, reliable glow. The hydrogel material is amazing. It’s so thin and sticks to every contour of my face, so I can walk around without it sliding off.

After using it, my skin has that “glassy” look without feeling greasy or heavy. It’s packed with niacinamide and peach extract, which really helps even out my skin tone. It’s just an easy, effective mask for daily brightness.

The Downside: I found you really need to leave it on for a good 30-40 minutes to see the full brightening effect.

COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin Glass Glow Hydrogel Mask

COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin Glass Glow Hydrogel Mask

You can get a three-pack for around $20. If you love the COSRX snail mucin essence, you will be obsessed with this mask. It’s soaked in the stuff and feels incredibly nourishing.

The hydrogel is seriously sticky in the best way. I’ve even worn this one overnight, and it stays put. I wake up with the smoothest, most radiant skin that feels repaired and intensely hydrated. It’s a repeat purchase for me, for sure.

The Downside: The price is a bit high for a multi-pack, so I save these for when my skin really needs some help.

Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Sheet Mask

Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Sheet Mask

This is a luxury treat at $12 a pop, but wow, does it deliver. I save this for when my skin is looking exhausted, especially after a long flight. It’s drenched in the brand’s famous First Care Activating Serum.

It only takes about 15 minutes to completely revive my face. The ginseng in the formula gives an immediate radiance and a healthy look. My skin just drinks up all the goodness and feels balanced and hydrated afterward.

The Downside: It’s definitely a splurge, so it’s not something I can use every week.

Best for Firming & Collagen

Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask

Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Gel Mask

For about $6, this mask is an experience. The brand says you can wear it for up to four hours, and I actually did. It starts as a thick gel and becomes thinner and clearer as your skin absorbs all the ingredients.

It’s formulated with salmon-derived PDRN and collagen, which are supposed to help with elasticity. After a long wear, my skin felt noticeably firmer and my texture looked so much smoother. It’s a commitment, but the results are there.

The Downside: You have to set aside a big chunk of time for it to work its magic. It’s not a quick 20-minute mask.

Sungboon Editor Deep Collagen Power Boosting Overnight Sheet Mask

Sungboon Editor Deep Collagen Power Boosting Overnight Sheet Mask

This overnight mask is about $11 and it’s perfect for anyone with super dry skin. You put it on before bed, and it works while you sleep. I was worried it would move around, but it adheres really well and doesn’t budge.

It’s loaded with an insane amount of collagen. When I peeled it off in the morning, my skin was plump, bouncy, and looked so much brighter. It’s like getting a full night’s sleep in a mask.

The Downside: It’s a single-use product, and using an overnight mask regularly feels a bit wasteful.

Biodance Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask

Biodance Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask

A four-pack of these viral masks costs around $20. This is another one that you can wear for hours or overnight. It comes in two pieces, which helps it fit better around the nose and mouth.

The mask turns transparent as your skin absorbs the collagen, hyaluronic acid, and probiotics. My pores always look tighter and my whole face feels more lifted and vibrant the next morning. It really gives you that hydrated, elastic skin feel.

The Downside: The two pieces are very slippery right out of the package, so applying it can be a little tricky at first.

Best for Calming & Hydrating

Beauty of Joseon Centella Asiatica Calming Mask

Beauty of Joseon Centella Asiatica Calming Mask

At just $2 a sheet, this is a staple for sensitive skin emergencies. If my skin is red, irritated, or just feeling reactive, this is what I reach for. It has a wonderful cooling sensation the moment you put it on.

The serum is packed with centella asiatica, mugwort, and three types of hyaluronic acid. It does an amazing job of soothing redness and hydrating without feeling heavy or causing more irritation. It’s perfect to use before makeup if you’re prone to flare-ups.

The Downside: The sheet itself is very light and thin, so it can shift around a bit if you’re not lying down.

Dr. Jart+ Cryo Rubber Moisture Mask

This mask is $16 and it’s one of the most unique ones I’ve tried. It’s a two-step process: you apply a thick ampoule serum first, then cover it with the creepy-looking rubber mask. The rubber creates a seal so your skin absorbs everything.

It feels instantly cooling and is amazing for dehydrated skin. My face looks brighter and feels so firm and plump after I take it off. And because it’s rubber, it absolutely does not slip or slide around.

The Downside: Peeling off the rubber mask can be a bit messy, and there’s always a lot of serum left over that you have to rub in.

Abib Mild Acidic pH Sheet Mask Heartleaf Fit

Abib Mild Acidic pH Sheet Mask Heartleaf Fit

For about $3 a sheet, this is a lifesaver for acne-prone skin. It’s formulated with heartleaf extract, which is known for its calming properties. The serum is very light and watery, so it doesn’t feel suffocating.

I use this whenever I have a few breakouts or my skin just feels unbalanced. It helps soothe the inflammation and leaves my skin feeling clean and healthy, not stripped. The mild acidic pH helps support your skin’s natural barrier.

The Downside: The sheet material is extremely thin and delicate, so it’s very easy to tear it by accident when you’re unfolding it.

Patchology Skin Remedy Barrier-Boosting Sheet Mask

This mask is about $9 and is designed specifically for a stressed-out skin barrier. When my skin feels tight, flaky, and generally unhappy, this is what I use to bring it back to life.

It’s full of good stuff like ectoin and probiotics to help your skin’s microbiome. The material itself is biodegradable and feels like a second skin. It provides a deep sense of calm and hydration that lasts.

The Downside: It’s more of a treatment mask, so the brand advises against using it every single day.

There’s really a sheet mask for every skin concern and budget. They’re a fantastic way to target a specific issue, whether it’s dullness from a long week or irritation from trying a new product.

My advice? Keep a few different types on hand. That way, you’ll always have the perfect quick fix ready to go when your skin needs a little extra love.
