I’ve been a Bobbi Brown fan forever. So when she launched Jones Road Beauty, I had to see what it was all about. The whole idea is simple, clean makeup that makes you look like yourself, but better. It’s the opposite of heavy, caked-on foundation.
I bought a ton of stuff and put it all to the test. Some products were instant hits for me, while others had a bit of a learning curve. But I really appreciate the brand’s philosophy—it’s makeup for people who don’t want to look like they’re wearing much makeup at all.
After trying almost everything, these are the best Jones Road products that I think are actually worth buying.
For Your Face: Foundation, Concealer, and Color
The Miracle Balm costs $38. This is probably the most famous product from the line, and it’s definitely unique. You have to break the seal by pressing your finger into it, which feels weird at first, but then you get to the good stuff.
It’s a tinted balm that gives your skin this incredible dewy glow. I just tap it onto my cheekbones, forehead, and chin for a healthy, hydrated sheen. It’s perfect for my dry skin, especially on days when I don’t want to wear any foundation.
The Downside: If you have oily skin, this might feel too tacky or greasy for you. A little goes a very long way.

What The Foundation will set you back $46. This is a tinted moisture balm, not a traditional foundation. It gives you that “your skin but better” look by just blurring imperfections and evening things out a little bit.
I love how moisturizing it feels. It blends right into the skin and gives a fresh, almost filtered glow without looking like makeup. It’s my go-to for a quick, natural face.
The Downside: The coverage is very, very light. It won’t cover significant redness or blemishes, so don’t expect it to.

The Face Pencil is $28. I use this little pencil for everything. It’s perfect for covering up redness around my nose, spot-correcting a blemish, or brightening up my under-eye area.
It’s super creamy and just melts into the skin when you blend it with your finger. The coverage looks so natural, and I find that it lasts all day without creasing or getting cakey.
The Downside: If you have very dry skin, it can feel a little hard to blend on bare skin. A bit of moisturizer underneath helps a lot.

This tinted moisturizer costs $44. For days when What The Foundation feels like too much work, I reach for this. It’s a more traditional liquid tinted moisturizer that gives a beautiful, radiant finish.
The formula is really hydrating and feels weightless on the skin. It does a great job of evening out my skin tone without hiding it. It’s the perfect base for a minimal makeup routine.
The Downside: It’s extremely sheer. If you need any real coverage, you’ll have to pair it with a concealer.
The Lip and Cheek Stick costs $36. I love a good multi-use product, and this one is fantastic. It’s a creamy stick that gives a beautiful wash of color to both your lips and cheeks.
It blends out so easily with just your fingers, giving a natural-looking flush. The formula feels nourishing, not dry, and you can build up the color from sheer to a bit more noticeable.
The Downside: Some of the lighter shades have very little pigment, so you have to apply a lot to see them.

The Bronzer is priced at $38. I’m picky about bronzers because so many look muddy or orange on me. This one is different. It’s very finely milled and blends beautifully.
It starts off sheer, so you can build it up to the perfect level of warmth. It just gives a healthy, sun-kissed glow that looks completely natural.
The Downside: If you use a dense brush or pick up too much product at once, it can look a little muddy at first.
For Your Eyes & Lips

The Mascara is $28. I was skeptical, but this is one of the best clean mascaras I’ve ever tried. It has a curved brush that lifts and separates my lashes perfectly in just one coat.
It adds both volume and length without ever looking clumpy. And best of all, it doesn’t flake or smudge on me throughout the day, which is a huge win.
The Downside: The formula is a bit wet, so it takes longer to dry down than other mascaras I’ve used.
For $24, you can get the Cool Gloss. This isn’t your typical sticky, goopy lip gloss. It feels more like a hydrating lip balm but has a beautiful, high-shine finish.
It makes my lips look plump and juicy without feeling heavy. I keep one in my bag at all times for quick touch-ups. It’s just so easy and comfortable to wear.
The Downside: It has a very strong minty scent and tingle. If you don’t like that sensation, you’ll want to skip this one.

The Gel Liner costs $26. I’ve struggled with eyeliner pencils that drag and skip, but this one is incredibly creamy. It glides on without any pulling on my eyelid.
You can get a precise line or smudge it out for a smokier look. Once it sets, it really stays put all day. The brown and bronze shades are my favorite for everyday definition.
The Downside: The shade range is pretty limited. I wish they had a few more interesting colors.

This eyeshadow is $25. These are simple, sophisticated powder eyeshadows that are pretty much foolproof. They apply smoothly with very little fallout.
The texture is soft and easy to blend, whether you use a brush or just your finger. They are great for a quick, one-and-done eyeshadow look.
The Downside: Some of the lighter matte shades need a few layers to really show up on the lid.
So, is Jones Road for everyone? Probably not. If you’re looking for full-coverage, high-impact makeup, this isn’t it. The brand is very clear about its “less is more” approach.
But if you want easy, reliable products that enhance your natural features instead of covering them up, I think you’ll be really happy. I’ve found a few staples that have earned a permanent spot in my makeup bag.
