I’ve been playing with makeup for years, and few brands get me as excited as Charlotte Tilbury. There’s just something about the rose gold packaging and the promise of instant glamour that’s hard to resist. It feels luxurious from the second you pick it up.

It occupies a unique space in my makeup bag. It’s not the bare-bones minimalism you see from brands like Bobbi Brown Jones Road. Instead, it’s about enhancing what you have for a polished, glowy, “lit-from-within” look that feels very red-carpet ready, but still wearable for every day.

The Downside: If you have oily or acne-prone skin, this is probably not for you. It’s very rich and can feel a bit greasy if your skin doesn’t need that intense hydration.

 

 

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter

The Hollywood Flawless Filter will set you back $49. I use this in so many different ways: under foundation, mixed in with it, or just dabbed on my cheekbones as a highlighter.

It gives your skin this incredible, real-looking glow. It’s not glittery or shimmery, it just looks like healthy, juicy skin. It blurs my pores and just makes everything look smoother, like I have a permanent Instagram filter on.

The Downside: The coverage is very sheer, so it won’t hide major blemishes. And honestly, the shade range could be better.

This cult-favorite powder is $45. I was shocked the first time I used this because it’s so incredibly fine. It doesn’t look like powder on the skin at all.

I just lightly dust it under my eyes and in my T-zone, and it completely blurs my pores and fine lines without ever looking heavy or cakey. This is one of the top Charlotte Tilbury makeup products for a reason. It creates a soft-focus finish that looks amazing in photos.

The Downside: This isn’t a heavy-duty setting powder for baking. It’s more of a finishing powder to blur and perfect, not to lock down makeup for 18 hours.

The Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray costs $39. This stuff is incredible for melting all your makeup together at the end.

If my face looks a little too powdery or “done,” a few spritzes of this makes everything look seamless and natural again. It takes away any cakiness and leaves a healthy, fresh finish that really does help my makeup last all day without feeling tight or dry.

The Downside: If your skin is super oily, you might want to try the matte version instead. This one gives more of a natural, slightly dewy finish.

 

 

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow

For $55, you get the Filmstar Bronze & Glow duo. This has been a staple in my collection for years. The bronzer is the perfect neutral tone—not too warm, not too cool.

It sculpts my cheekbones without looking muddy or stripey. The highlighter gives a beautiful, sophisticated sheen that isn’t glittery. The powders are so finely milled they just blend into the skin effortlessly, which is why I think it’s fantastic for mature skin.

The Downside: While it’s a classic, there are a lot of newer cream and liquid bronzers on the market that give a dewier look, so this powder format can feel a bit traditional.

The viral Beauty Light Wand is $42. I was influenced, and I’m not mad about it. The glow this gives is unreal.

The Downside: You have to be careful with the cap. If you just pull it off instead of twisting, the whole sponge applicator can come off and cause a mess.

The iconic Pillow Talk lipstick costs $37. If you’re going to buy one thing from the brand, this is probably it. It’s famous for a reason.

It’s described as a universal nude, and on me, it’s the perfect pinky-beige that just enhances my natural lip color. The formula feels amazing—it’s a soft matte that’s surprisingly hydrating and comfortable to wear for hours.

The Downside: Because it’s a softer nude shade, it doesn’t have the same staying power as a super bold, dark color. I usually have to reapply after eating.

 

 

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Pillow Talk

The matching Lip Cheat liner is $26. I always use this with the lipstick. It’s super creamy and just glides on without tugging at my lips.

The Downside: If you have very small eyes, the large brush might be a little tricky to maneuver without making a mess.

The Super Nudes Easy Eye Palette is $60. This is my go-to for foolproof, everyday eye looks. The quality of these shadows is just fantastic.

They are so buttery and blendable, you barely have to do any work. You can create a simple daytime look or a more intense smoky eye, and it always looks polished and professional. I can see why so many bridal makeup artists love this.

The Downside: As the name suggests, it’s all nudes. If you love playing with color, this palette will probably bore you.

Charlotte Tilbury’s line is definitely an investment, but the quality is there. The formulas are elegant, the textures are beautiful, and the overall effect is just so flattering.
