The Downside: It’s definitely made for normal to dry skin. If you’re on the oily side, this one might feel a bit slick or greasy by the end of the day.

You can’t beat the price on this one—it’s just $15. This is my go-to drugstore anti aging foundation because it performs just as well as some of the pricey ones.

It has a serum-like feel that evens out my skin tone beautifully without caking up. And a huge bonus is the SPF 50. It’s a great everyday option that provides a natural, radiant look and feels hydrating.

The Downside: It’s very radiant, so if you have an oily T-zone like I do, you’ll absolutely need to set it with some powder to keep the shine under control.

 

 

NARS Light Reflecting Advanced Skincare Foundation

This NARS foundation runs for $55, and it’s what I grab when I want my skin to look flawless in photos. It’s a true makeup-and-skincare mix that really improves skin texture over time.

The finish is so natural and breathable. It blurs pores and smooths over texture without hiding your real skin. It just makes everything look better and feels incredibly lightweight.

The Downside: I’ve heard from some friends that the shade range is a bit limited for the deepest skin tones, which is a real bummer. I hope they expand it soon.

The Downside: This one is all about the glow. If you have oily skin, it might be a bit too dewy for your preference unless you are very strategic with your powder.
